Summary
Position 93 is one of two bottom row positions without selvage. The selvage was removed some time before the 1939 Kessler auction of the Dr. Philip G. Cole collection. Our next record of a sale is a 1956 Harmer, Rooke auction. It was next sold in 1961, and some time after that sale it was donated to Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa by Ellen Douglas Williamson.
Coe College sold the stamp collection at a Siegel auction in 1977. It was then offered several more times over the next ten years. This stamp has Sanabria and Cole backstamps.
