Description
#C3a, 24c Carmine rose and blue,
Center Inverted, another example of
this famous 20th century rarity; being
position 93, and from the portion of the
unique sheet that yields most of the well
centered examples. This stamp has most
attractive facial appearance with wide
margins and deep, rich colors. It has
been expertly regummed over a small
filled thin spot and strengthened crease.
A wonderful opportunity for the collector
or investor to purchase perhaps the
most recognizable philatelic rarity in existance.
Accompanied by a 1979 Friedl
Expert Committee photo certificate.
The stamp also bears guarantee handstamps
of Cole and Sanabria. (see
special color photo and front cover
photo)
