Summary

Position 99 has selvage at bottom. It was purchased by businessman Charles Jackman in a 1929 Robinette auction of the Reid Baker collection. When Mr. Jackman passed away in 1957 he bequeathed the stamp to Margaret Gesen, who kept the stamp away from public view for the remainder of her life. This stamp was off the market for 65 years, before it was offered in a 1994 Siegel auction.
