24c carmine rose and blue (C3A). Center inverted. Wonderfully fine
block of four, o. g. From the lower left corner, with full sheet
margins, stated to be the best centered block in the only known
sheet of this very rare and interesting error. Slight gum disturbance
on the right hand stamps, mentioned merely for the sake of
accuracy, but in no manner affecting the beauty and value of this
remarkable block. (This block realized $17,000.00 in Green sale
XXV, held by E. N. Costales)
