Description

#C3a, 24c Carmine rose and blue, Center Inverted, a most attractive example of this famous philatelic rarity whose story is well documented; this particular invert is position 5 from the unique sheet, originally the stamp had a straight edge at top which has been expertly reperforated to enhance the stamp's overall appearance; it is quite well centered and possesses deep rich colors, the stamp also has full original gum; this invert is also free of any faults that have come to plague several of these stamps; we consider this to be a most attractive and very fine example, one that will prove to be most affordable to the serious collector; accompanied by a 1982 Philatelic Foundation Certificate.
