Andy Levitt was a long-time stamp dealer. At one point he ran Siegel Auction Galleries (1970's) and Sotheby's stamp auctions in the United States (late 1970's-early 1980's). He was also an independent dealer, and worked with several important collectors, including Jack Rosenthal and John Boker. He also started Nutmeg Stamp Auctions.
