Emil Bruechig, from New York, wrote several philatelic works specializing in Air Mails, including The History and Romance of Air Mail Stamps and also Catalogue of Official Air Mail Stamps, April 1933

Emil Bruechig was also a past president of the American Stamp Dealer's Association (1938).
