Willaim O. Bilden (1919-2013) was a long time resident of Edina Minn. He was a decorated WWII veteran, serving as a reservist in the United States Marines and as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army in New Guinea and the Philippine Islands. He graduated from George Washington University with a B.A. in Government and attended Harvard University School of Law. He left law school and began a distinguished career as a philatelic dealer. He founded William O. Bilden Stamp Co. in 1946.
