Description
According to the Amick book (p. 80), Steinmetz took a pair of the Inverted Jenny's as his share of the profit when the sheet was first sold.
Steinmetz, with Percy Mann and Eugene Klein, agreed to combine forces rather than compete with one another when purchasing the sheet from its discoverer, William Robey, in 1918. The three then sold the sheet to Colonel Green, who gave instructions for it to be broken.
We have been unable to locate a photo of the pair before it was broken.
